Personal Trainers

Mr. Carroll Dawkins, founder and owner of Fitness Edge Studios,
has been a personal trainer and a member of the AFPA for more
than 25 years. Carroll has a Masters Level Certification in
Personal Training, a Certification in the Essentials of Strength and
Conditioning, he is certified as a Post Rehab Exercise Specialist,
and is certified by the US Sports Academy in Exercise Physiology.
In addition to his credentials, Carroll has worked in several
orthopedic offices and in the Spartanburg Regional Health Care
System with a variety of clientele with both personal training and
rehabilitation services. Carroll’s clientele includes young athletes,
special needs adults, pre and post-op orthopedic patients, pre
and post-natal patients, brides and grooms-to-be, Parkinson’s
patients, cancer patients, diabetic patients; as well as, adults of all
ages who are looking to achieve personal physical fitness. Carroll
offers both one-on-one training and group training. Many of his
clients have won awards at local competitions in both Tall and
Short Figure categories of body building. As well as competition
training, Carroll enjoys working with clients on speed and agility
training, various sports training and nutritional needs.
Carroll specializes in creating customized workout programs
tailored to individual needs. Whether a client is looking to develop
various athletic skills, lose weight, gain muscle, or just live a
healthier lifestyle; he is dedicated to helping his clients reach their
fitness goals. At Fitness Edge, Carroll works hard to create an
environment that is supportive and encouraging to assist
everyone in reaching their full potential.
